The Continental Empire of EHRGEIZ is seperated into several Major and Minor Provinces.

MAJOR PROVINCES:

1. CROWN
The capitol of Crown Province is ELLYSIUM, a resplendent city worthy of the Emperor EDDRICK VALE IV, everything about it is grand. The farming villages on the outskirts have fields plentiful with crops as far as the eye can see, tremendous towering walls with it’s massive gate shield the city, the city itself is teeming with people from many varying social classes, races and creeds. The Emperor’s keep is gigantic, almost a city within a city, and protected on all sides by a body of water that flows down and around it from The Grail Falls directly to the north. There is very little that can’t be found at the heart of the empire, and many people come to find fame or fortune or whatever destiny might await them. With the Emperor’s Paladin lineage and personal faith, the capitol is a home for those who worship Iomedae, but followers of other Good or Neutral deities are welcomed, though the worship and practice of evil is prohibited in all forms.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Atticus, Limyrin, The Grail Falls… (MORE TBA.)

2. LAZARUS
The capitol of Lazarus Province is VAREEN, an advanced metropolis at the bleeding edge of both Magic and Technology, as well as the synergy of the two. The city is far more urban than any other in the empire. With the use of magic so prevalent in the region, laws for its use and control are strictly enforced by Magi who work for the governor. You’ll find no better place to find magical materials, clothes, weapons, armor or wondrous items than the shops of Vareen. Most religion in the region is also centered around magic or invention, most pious citizens choose to worship Nethys while others may follow cultural deities such as the Elven goddess Yuelral. Artificers and inventors are sometimes disciples of the clockwork goddess Brigh.
GOVERNOR: “The Archmage” MALLOR VISCARI.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Old Vareen… (MORE TBA.)

3. BOREA
The capitol of the Borea Province is FROSTBURN, a keep in the heart of the north hardened by seemingly endless winter and battle. Things are meager here, but the people of the north are a hearty folk, resilient to the end and get by with what they have. They are a people born and bred for battle and they have proven themselves time and time again, defeating the wild monstrous forces that try to cross the mountains and enter the realm of men. Victory and death are all met with celebration, glorifying those who fought and lived, and those who fought and died. They know the gods will welcome the brave warrior souls into their place of honor.
GOVERNOR: “The Giantess” RIMA COLDHEART.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Whitewood, The Gray Blades, The Bulwarks… (MORE TBA)

4. Q’DAN
The capitol of the Q’Dan Province is HEL-SHARIF Q’DAN, a bustling trade city in the south eastern deserts of Ehrgeiz, exporting Spices, Oils and the finest Textiles both by land and by sea. This region is a mecca for those who are worshippers of either Sarenrae or Asmodeus and the two sects often find themselves at odds with one another living in such close proximity, though their strict religious disciplines also garner a deal of respect from each other. Here you can see so much of the exotic, but it’s also a volatile and treacherous place to travel to, let alone live.
GOVERNOR: “The Sultan” A’ZRED FAYAD.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Nas’Am, The Great Dusktombs, Ophidian, Amassus… (MORE TBA.)

5. GRAY
The capitol of Gray Province is JUDGMENT, a somber city in a realm of seemingly sempiternal rain. Judgment is the home of the Pharasmin faithful, as well as the militant “Voices of the Spire,” who seek to rid the world of all undead and the necromantic sorcery that births them. Temples and shrines adorn the vast province, and very little trade is done here. Traveling merchants and caravans come through, but for the most part farmers, artisans and store-owners lead humble lives under the watch of the Inquisition, who protect the innocent in the midst of their eternal struggle with the abominable undead.
GOVERNOR: “The Inquisitor” FERRO DRAGUNOV.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: The Boneyard, Sanctuary, Gray Haven… (MORE TBA.)

6. SUN
The capitol of the Sun Province is SUNRISE. A strict militaristic province led by a quiet and severe man who commands respect and obedience from all who serve him. The capitol often sends green boys here to receive combat and tactical training, especially if they are being groomed for serving in the Imperial Guard.
GOVERNOR: “The Iron Fist” GARRISON GREY.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Morningstar, Prominence, The Dawnhold… (MORE TBA.)

7. MOON
The capitol of the Moon Province is NIGHTFALL. The common people of Ehrgeiz like to think of the Moon province as the polar opposite of Sun, but they are mistaken. Both provinces are diligently governed and are strict in their disciplines. The only substantial difference between the two is the principles on which they stand. Moon province is home to the Assassin’s Guild of Ehrgeiz, as well as several underground crews who operate here.
GOVERNOR: “The Other Hand” SEBASTIAN SHELBY.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Sanguine, Daggermark, Stiletto Point… (MORE TBA.)

8. VERDANT
The capitol of the Verdant Province is AMPANO’NUADD (GOLDENHALL in common.) This province is almost completely forest. Though much smaller than The Living Green, it is still a substantial expanse of woodlands and is home to many denizens of nature, fey and sylvan creatures, as well as the majority of the ‘true’ Elven population of Ehrgeiz.
GOVERNOR: “The Stag Lord” IMPERIOUS REX.
OTHER CITIES/LANDMARKS: Thurodain, L’Tharion… (MORE TBA.)

MINOR PROVINCES:

1. THE PRIDELANDS
The Pridelands is an expansive region of temperate plains, tropical savanna, rolling hills, swamps, and deserts where the wild are free to be wild.

2. THE LIVING GREEN
Very little is known about the massive and mysterious forest region the outsiders refer to as “The Living Green.” It is second in size only to the pridelands, and not by very much, and the entirety of it is the most lush and vividly colorful forest anyone has ever seen. All outsiders are warned to steer clear and never to enter, the few who have ignored the warnings have never been found to tell about their findings.

3. THE SHROUDED ISLES
This set of islands off the eastern coast of Ehrgeiz, is a haven for beings who seek spiritual evolution and enlightenment. There are many spiritual centers and schools of enlightenment there, each one working in harmony with one another to find the answers to life’s mystical questions.
